The certification of Health Management Practitioners in China is officially administered by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS), in collaboration with relevant professional institutions. Although the national-level unified examination for Health Management Practitioners was adjusted in recent years as part of occupational qualification reform, the certificate is still recognized as a key credential in the health industry. Currently, authorized vocational skills appraisal centers and qualified third-party evaluation organizations issue the certificates under the supervision of local human resources departments. These certificates are registered in the national occupational qualification directory and can be verified on official government platforms. Therefore, while the assessment model has shifted toward market-based evaluation, the governmental oversight—primarily led by the MOHRSS—remains central to ensuring the credibility and standardization of the Health Management Practitioner certification system.
