The Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission has released an updated list of fully subsidized health examination procedures for individuals applying for occupational health certificates. These examinations are designed to ensure that workers in high-risk industries meet strict health standards while reducing financial burdens on employees and employers alike. The fully subsidized procedures include chest X-rays, pulmonary function tests, blood analysis, hearing assessments, liver and kidney function evaluations, and screenings for occupational diseases such as pneumoconiosis and noise-induced hearing loss. Additional tests may be required depending on the specific occupation, including dermatological exams for those handling hazardous chemicals or neurological assessments for workers exposed to heavy metals. All examinations must be conducted at designated medical institutions authorized by the Shenzhen government.
